Paper Filler Round Knife To Cut Cigarette Rod With Filters Assembled
Filter Knife is a component of cigarette making machines to slice filter rod after being connected to cigarette rod.
Note:
For wear parts/ consumables/ spares made from metals, material is often optional. Normally choices of our client varies from stainless steel to alloy, depending on capacity of the machine to be applied to.
Please also let us know before shipment if you need extra insurance for freight.
Larger orders always get better prices.
Most products can be custom, please contact with us for any specs needed but not listed on our product page.
Resistance To Ferric Oxide Formation
Stainless steel's resistance to ferric oxide formation results from the presence of chromium in the alloy, which forms a passive film that would protect the underlying material from corrosion, and can self-heal in the presence of oxygen. Corrosion resistance can be enhanced further, by:
addition of molybdenum (which also improves resistance to "pitting corrosion")
increasing the chromium content to levels above 11%;
addition of 8% or higher amounts of nickel
Ferritic Stainless Steels
Ferritic stainless steels possess a ferrite micro-structure like carbon steel, which is a body-centered cubic crystal structure, and contain between 10.6% and 27.2% chromium with very little or no nickel. They are magnetic.
This micro-structure is present at all temperatures due to the chromium addition, so they are not hardened by heat treatment. They cannot be strengthened by cold work to the same degree as austenitic stainless steels.
