A governor, or speed limiter or controller, is a device used to measure and regulate the speed of a machine, such as an engine.
Other Applications - Elevator
Governors are used in an Elevator. It acts as a stopping mechanism in case the elevator runs beyond its tripping speed (which is usually a factor of the maximum speed of the lift and is preset by the manufacturer as per the international lift safety guidelines). This device must be installed in traction elevators and roped hydraulic elevators.
We provide governor for basically all high speed packing machines while the one in photos is for GDX2 cigarette packer.
Electrical generator - droop speed control
For electrical generation on synchronous electrical grids prime mover's drive electrical generators which are electrically coupled to any other generators on the grid. With droop speed control, the frequency of the entire grid determines the fuel delivered to each generator, so that if the grid runs faster, the fuel is reduced to each generator by its governor to limit the speed.
Droop speed control:
Droop speed control is a control mode used for AC electrical power generators, whereby the power output of a generator reduces as the line frequency increases. It is commonly used as the speed control mode of the governor of a prime mover driving a synchronous generator connected to an electrical grid. It works by controlling the rate of power produced by the prime mover according to the grid frequency. With droop speed control, when the grid is operating at maximum operating frequency, the prime mover's power is reduced to zero, and when the grid is at minimum operating frequency, the power is set to 100%, and intermediate values at other operating frequencies.
In practice, the droop curves that are used by generators on large electrical grids are not necessarily linear or the same, and may be adjusted by operators. This permits the ratio of power used to vary depending on load, so for example, base load generators will generate a larger proportion at low demand. Stability requires that over the operating frequency range the power output is a monotonically decreasing function of frequency.
Droop speed control can also be used by grid storage systems. With droop speed control those systems will remove energy from the grid at higher than average frequencies, and supply it at lower frequencies.
Preferred: EXW, FOB, CIF, CFR
It had always been our first priority to provide quotation with EXW terms applied price. Still for final shipment the other 3 sets of shipping terms are most recommended. We would like to have the export clearance process done by ourselves since normally we know China’s customs more than our clients do. Also the tax rebate procedure can be more or less simplified if we clear the custom on our own.
For any other sets of shipping terms especially those where export clearance is no more our obligation to see to, please contact with us for further detail negotiation, so as to avoid any discordance.
Before business actually starts, we are always glad to send you samples(wear parts/ consumables/ spares) for a quality test.
Clients are always welcome to our office for better communication, and also to our plants for an on-site inspection. Please inform us of your journey beforehand so that we could meet you at the airport and join you to visit our plants.
We provide on-site engineering support for installation of complete machines if requested.
For requirement of specific certification to meet import regulations of certain nations, inform us beforehand to get our products certified if they are not yet.
